We went out to lunch today and I was surprised by Big J's choice--Big Kahuna's, but pleasantly so, since I love their food. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I got it all. Teriyaki noodle bowl, spring rolls and pot stickers. Big J got the Lemongrass noodle bowl and the basil chicken.
Actually, I was a bit surprised with how good Big Kahuna's was when I first ate there. It's pretty decent, but the location seems to be one of those restaurant black holes. You know, a spot where the restaurant is constantly closing and reopening under new managment and changing cuisines until finally it ends up being a "Taco Jalisco" # whatever.

Me too Albatross. I love that place and every time we go, they tell us they're still trying to find a buyer but they really want whomever buys it to keep it a Viet. restaurant. I hope that is possible.
